Purpose To provide scholarships to students with rare diseases.

Qualifications Applicant must have been diagnosed by a physician as having any form of a rare disease; must be enrolled or planning to enroll part- or full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited two-or four-year university, college, or vocational school for the upcoming fall semester; must be a U.S. resident; must be at least 17 years old. Previous recipients may reapply.
Criteria Selection is based on submitted essay, academic performance, work experience, and demonstrated leadership and participation in community and school activities.
Funds $5,000
Duration Annual.
Number of Awards Up to 104.
To Apply Applicant must complete the application online and submit most recent transcripts and proof or rare disease diagnosis.
