Qualifications Students must be the primary unpaid caregiver for a family member or loved one with a chronic disability or medical condition requiring in-home care; must be planning to attend college in the United States as legal residents for their associate’s, undergraduate, or graduate degree in the fall of the year of application; paid caregivers (nurses, nurse’s aides, home health workers, nursing home workers, etc.) or students currently in medical school are ineligible to apply; a legal resident of the United States; accepted to a two-year, four-year, or graduate school program full-time in the fall of the year of application.
