Award Type Scholarship
Purpose To recognize innovative works that expand the discipline of film and media studies, emphasizing its relationship to other visual fields, including architect, art history and digital media.
Focus Filmmaking; Media arts.
Qualifications Applicants must be published between August 1, before one year and July 31, current year; first books are eligible; no submitted work may compete for more than one SCMS award.
Criteria Selection will be based on the committee criteria.
