Purpose To encourage students or graduates with concentrations in communications or journalism that are interested in promoting and protecting human rights, with a particular emphasis on Latin America.
Focus Communications; Human rights.
Qualifications Applicants must be in the Washington office, international students studying in the U.S. are eligible, but they must hold a valid F-1 or J-1 visa and appropriate work authorization; CEJIL is NOT able to sponsor visas for interns. If you are an international student not already studying in the U.S. on a F-1 or J-1 visa, then you have to go through a university exchange program or an outside organization (e.g. internship placement agency) that will sponsor your visa; must have the appropriate visa to apply for this internship; applicants do not have a valid work authorization or visa, it is possible to carry out the internship virtually.
Criteria Selection will be based on the applications of the aspiring interns.
Duration Periodic.
