Genesis10 is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a contract position in Canonsburg, PA. This will be a contract position. This role pays $16.25 /hour W2 based on experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to support our client in Canonsburg, PA area. As a member of our Accounts Payable department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Job Duties:
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure accuracy.
Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with vendor communication and inquiries regarding invoice status and payments.
Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
Maintain organized electronic and physical records of invoices and payments.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency within the accounts payable function.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with internal controls.
Requirements:
Prior experience in accounts payable, procurement, logistics or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
Availability to work on a temporary basis for a specified period.
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in accounting or finance is a plus.
