        LAPSEN created the Law Enforcement Certification under the new Perkins Industry Recognized Credential requirements. We started with dozens of industry leaders from the Department of Homeland Security all the way to local police training officers. We found out what agencies of all sizes need in an entry level cadet. Then we worked with Subject Matter Experts from around the country to create a certification that is relevant and valuable to your students as well as industry. The certification is a direct representation of the competencies that became the national standards for law enforcement education.
