        The Chief Engineer Limited credential allows the holder to serve as Chief Engineer on vessels less than 1600 GRT on Ocean and Near Coastal waters and as Chief Engineer within horsepower limitations on vessels of any tonnage on Inland Waters. The credential can be endorsed for Oceans or Near Coastal.
