Robert Half is supporting the recruiting efforts of a company in the nonprofit industry to find a Development Coordinator/Manager. This is a full time, permanent position in Englewood. Responsibilities:
Fundraising Campaigns:
Plan, organize, and execute fundraising campaigns to meet financial goals.
Donor Relations:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors through regular communication and personalized outreach.
Event Planning:
Coordinate and manage fundraising events, including logistics, volunteer management, and post-event follow-up.
Database Management:
Maintain accurate records of donations, donor information, and fundraising activities using donor management software.
Marketing and Communications:
Develop and distribute promotional materials and communications to support fundraising efforts and increase community awareness.
Budget Management:
Assist in preparing and monitoring the development department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Volunteer Coordination:
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support development activities and events.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress, donor engagement, and financial outcomes for the executive team and board of directors.
Collaboration:
Work closely with program staff to understand funding needs and align development efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
Requirements
Keys:
2+ years in a nonprofit with a similar position
Experience with a CRM or something to track information
Extremely organized and being able to use technology to track the donation cycle for hundreds of donors
Very personable, client service personality
Someone who is willing to host events after hours
