LOCATION: Remote U.S. locations

OVERVIEW

You will analyze and answer escalated and complex HR compliance-related inquiries. You will ensure execution of HR transactions to support both Wolters Kluwer employees and HR professionals experience within agreed service level.

You will support Wolters Kluwer with regards to client and regulatory audits and compliance programs (including SOC, Audit, Internal Control, and OFCCP). You will work with legal and HR and Employee Relations teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You will manage a high volume of compliance requests to include review, analysis, and reporting. You will report to the Associate Director, HR Service Delivery.

RESPONSIBILITITES

  • Be the subject matter expert for HR related audit and compliance and creates response templates (including SOC, Audit, Internal Control, and OFCCP)

  • Produces and updates Workday Help content related to US Compliance to improve employee direct access to answers

  • Produces and manages all materials (copies of policies, process, and reports) for audit or compliance requests

  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment handling a large volume of time sensitive client issues while maintaining accuracy and integrity and providing timely resolution

  • Research complex audit / compliance requests, is resourceful, and follows up promptly with actionable solutions

  • Stays informed of HR initiatives, programs and policy changes with impacts to Compliance and ensures that shared service teams and Global Process Owners are briefed and able to respond to associated queries

  • Follows up and assists in accessing information, troubleshooting problems and resolving any exceptions or findings

  • Provide information for incoming internal/external requests

  • Assists with the maintenance of current policies and procedures and ensure additions and changes to procedures are current

  • Complies with company policies and procedures (to include all IT required security and privacy policies and procedures), client standards and all applicable federal, state and regulatory laws

  • Adheres to communication transmittal requirements pursuant to client guidelines (encrypted portals or encrypted preferred method of transiting communications)

  • Learns and tests modern technology platforms introduced including Human Capital Management and Case Management

  • Provides backup and other duties for HR Operations

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources with a bachelor's degree.

  • 7+ years of experience in a legal or compliance environment with an associates degree.

Other Skills:

  • Usage of common office software.

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and rules related to Human Resource policy and procedures.

  • Analyze information and convert related activities into a comprehensive work plan.

  • Communicate and make recommendations to upper management.

  • Identify problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Work with confidential information.

  • Time management and priority setting skills.

  • Handle a large volume of time sensitive inquiries without cutting corners while maintaining accuracy and integrity.

  • Manage client issues in a timely manner and collaborate with the team to ensure programs run smoothly with a customer first focus.

  • Research complex issues, think creatively to solve problems, and follow up promptly with actionable solutions.

  • Learn and develop compliance knowledge by collaborating with the employee relations and legal teams.

  • Navigate software systems and programs including multiple case management systems, i.e., Workday Help and team trackers.
