Responsibilities You will complete programming build outs in order to submit for resourcing. You will perform or advise on work in the first two phases of budget administrations. You will analyze and formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates. You will analyze and recommend cost and benefits alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-13: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing work in any of the phases or system of budget administration; Developing, determining, and interpreting budgetary policies and practices; Applying concepts, principles, laws and regulations of budgeting and/or financing; and Helping employees resolves issues in work environments that continually change programs objectives. GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, programming, budgeting and executing (PPBE) processes; Formulating budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending cost estimates; and Performing financial analysis utilizing various financial reports or systems. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) mission is to investigate and defeat criminal, terrorist, and foreign intelligence threats to the United States Navy and Marine Corps-ashore, afloat, and in cyberspace.
