Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Analyst in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania. This role involves contributing to a data-driven approach within our team, examining sales data and identifying trends and deficiencies. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site, providing crucial insights that drive our decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing sales data to provide insights and trends
Identifying gaps or deficiencies in data trends, and proposing solutions
Utilizing advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Gaining exposure to accounting software, specifically NetSuite
Leveraging skills in Apache Spark, Database, EO/IR systems, Erwin Data, HDFS, AB Testing, Analytics, AWS Technologies, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Data Analysis, Data Analytics, and Customer Service
Collaborating with multiple teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Implementing data analysis best practices and procedures
Creating and maintaining reports to track and communicate key metrics
Assisting in the development of data management policies and procedures. Requirements - Proficiency in Apache Spark, Database, EO/IR systems, Erwin Data, and HDFS is essential.
Strong knowledge of AB Testing, Analytics, AWS Technologies, and Business Intelligence (BI) is required.
Ability to create and understand Business Requirement Documents.
Skilled in Data Analysis and Data Analytics.
Mastery of Microsoft Excel and NetSuite is necessary.
Exceptional customer service skills are needed.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Relevant work experience in a data analyst role is beneficial.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
Familiarity with statistical packages and analysis techniques.
