Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Fleet Readiness Project Manager to help support multiple programs in the C5ISR Systems operation. The selected candidate will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. This role will be critical to the organization and aid with developing & delivering cutting-edge technologies/solutions to protect national security.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a Vertical Launching System (VLS) East Coast Fleet Readiness PEO IWS3L Program Manager Representative (PMR) to advocate fleet readiness for Surface Launching Systems.

  • Act as a representative of PEO IWS 3L, understand NSWC PHD ISEA responsibilities and technical authority integral to the Surface Launching Systems and Combat Systems interfaces.

  • Provide program management for in-service Surface Launching System Lifecycle, Readiness and Modernization issues.

  • Develop and implement overall PEO IWS3L and Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division program requirements; analyze and evaluate effectiveness of program requirements throughout the lifecycle.

  • Prepare analytical evaluations to enforce readiness requirement traceability; providing upgrades/improvements recommendations and establishing a feedback loop on integrated Combat/Weapon System performance to Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division.

  • Maintain active relationships with waterfront activities such as RMCs, Fleet Commanders, TYCOMs, Ship's Force and WFCs in support of Surface Integrated Combatant Combat/Weapon Systems readiness.

  • Provide leadership in the oversight of Casualty Reports and priority material requirements for ships in a specified AOR that prevents full mission readiness. Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to expedite material resource requirements.

  • Identify areas for process improvements, reduction of total ownership costs, and the increase of fleet readiness; conduct system/equipment reviews as necessary.

  • Participate in working groups on a continuing basis and provide status from the waterfront to PEO IWS and WFCs to ensure fleet issues are addressed.

  • Lead the Combat/Weapon Systems development of program budgets and schedules to provide technical, logistic and fiscal status and resource recommendations.

What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.

  • Ability to plan, manage and accomplish a variety of complex integrated combat/weapon system project assignments to satisfy technical objectives for surface combatant total ship combat/weapon system readiness, engineering and supportability.

  • Application of in-depth knowledge of program management, risk management, and cost, schedule and performance assessment.

  • In depth knowledge in integration, budgeting and resource management.

  • Leadership skills to support the partnering requirements.

  • Ability to interface and provide technical and programmatic briefs to Flag, SES and O6 level personnel.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
