Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Racine, Wisconsin. The role primarily involves managing and organizing medical records within the healthcare industry. In this role, you will be expected to utilize different technologies and systems like Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, Microsoft Excel, among others.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and manage medical records using systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH

  • Ensure all records are kept confidential and in compliance with healthcare regulations and laws

  • Conduct data entry tasks to keep records up-to-date and easily accessible

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to create charts and graphs for data analysis and presentation

  • Participate in clinical trial operations, ensuring all necessary records are accurate and readily available

  • Constantly update skills and knowledge of various systems and technologies used in the management of medical records

  • Assist in the resolution of any issues or inquiries related to medical records

  • Ensure the efficient and secure access to medical records by relevant healthcare professionals

  • Contribute to the overall operations of the medical records department by performing other duties as assigned. Requirements - Proficiency in the use of medical software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH for record-keeping purposes.

  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including creating charts and graphs.

  • Experience in Clinical Trial Operations is required.

  • Familiarity with Compliance regulations in the healthcare sector.

  • Strong commitment to maintaining patient Confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

  • Proven skills in Data Entry, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain and retrieve medical records as needed.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
