Schedule: Monday - Friday (Onsite)
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay Rate: $18/HR

Requirements:
Entry Level: Previous EMR or Medical Coding Experience is NOT required
Quick Learner: We're looking for someone who can adapt swiftly to our billing processes and software systems. Your ability to learn on the job will be crucial.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in using billing software, spreadsheets, and databases is essential. Familiarity with medical billing software (such as Medent) is a plus.
Healthcare Environment Experience: Ideally, you'll have 1-2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting. Understanding medical terminology and insurance procedures is advantageous.
Insurance Denials: Handling insurance denials can be challenging, but it's a critical part of the role. If you've dealt with denials before, you'll thrive in this position.
Responsibilities:
Process and submit medical claims accurately and efficiently.
Investigate and resolve insurance denials promptly.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure accurate billing.
Maintain patient records and confidentiality.
Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance
