Pearl Interactive Network is seeking to hire Remote Appointment Scheduling CSRs - Remote.

The Appointment Scheduling CSR is responsible for answering inquiries received through both telephone and email communication channels assisting in the coordination of care for Veterans and assisting in scheduling medical and dental appointments. This job will require Veteran and Provider outreach and a referral will be used as the source to schedule and various systems will be utilized. Seeking professional and reliable candidates with excellent customer service skills, the ability to navigate multiple systems, and compassion towards others.

Operating Hours: 8 am - 8 pm EST, Monday - Saturday

Work from Home Requirements:

  • Broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps. No Satellite Connections. Test your network at speed.cloudflare.com to verify before you apply.

  • A private and secure workspace within your home, away from noise and distractions.

  • Computer and audio headset will be provided.

    Please note the bandwidth requirements are minimum for remote work-from-home agents, to support agent project workflow. For shared home access, additional bandwidth is needed where multiple family members are sharing household bandwidth with Streaming video/Remote learning, etc.

    Job Duties:

    • Provide knowledgeable responses to telephone inquiries from Veterans or providers in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.

    • Take incoming calls efficiently and provide information accordingly.

    • Schedule medical-related appointments in a timely fashion

    • Ensure patient confidentiality of health information and records.

    • Follow established and documented policies and standard operation procedures such as adhering to privacy rules.

    • Work effectively in a structured, production environment.

    • Adhere to daily schedules and assignments.

    • Regular and predictable attendance is required.

    • Remain in the call queue at all times unless permission to leave is granted. (Inbound or Outbound as assigned)

    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required *.*

    • 1 year of call center experience required.

    • Strong contact-handling skills and active listening

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical or health insurance environment with knowledge of medical terminology

    • Must be able to type 35 WPM and 2+ years of computer experience.

    • Successfully complete 3 weeks of virtual classroom training followed by 1 week of simulation training.

    • Metric-focused and ability to consistently meet productivity standards.

    • Experience working with a PC and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

    • Must pass a third-party Background investigation and 9-panel drug testing.

    • Bilingual with Spanish preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
