Program Description |
The forensic accounting & fraud examination minor/certificate at SMSU is structured to advance the knowledge-base of qualified undergraduate and graduate students and working professionals. The forensic accounting/fraud examination minor/certificate will enable students to become a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certified Forensic Accountant (CFA) Certified Financial Forensics (CFF) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). The forensic accounting & fraud examination certificate at SMSU involves creating a collaborative online environment in which students can develop analytical and in-depth accounting skills. Students will be prepared to identify and conduct research on forensic accounting and fraud examination through the use of on-line databases and present findings recommendations and concluding remarks. The learning environment is conducive to provide students with an opportunity to draw from personal and diverse student backgrounds.
