Description of Occupation: An Architect Provides professional services in research , development design, construction, alteration, or repair of Property such as private residences, office buildings, theaters, public buildings or factories. Determines functional and spatial requirements and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, and building time. Plans layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design.Requirements for Licensing: Masters Degree from an approved school, 1 year full time lawful experience, passed NCARB Examination,
or
Bachelors Degree from approved school, 2 years full time lawful experience, passed NCARB Examination,
or
Graduate of approved school, 5 years full time lawful experience, passed NCARB Examination,
or
12 years full time lawful experience, passed NCARB Examination.
Examinations: NCARB Examination.
Application and Fees: $500 application fee and $500 registration fee - after approval of application.
