License Description	To initially obtain a Cathodic Protection Tester or Corrosion Expert Certification, you must submit: 1) The Cathodic Protection Tester or Corrosion Expert Certification application 2) Fees 3) Social Security Number Request form 4) Proof of the required education and training: Documentation showing formal education relating to soil resistivity, stray current, structure-to-soil potential, component electrical isolation measurements of buried metal piping and tank systems, and corrosion control. Documentation showing you have successfully completed a certification examination from one of the following: NACE certification as a corrosion specialist. NACE certification as a CP4 cathodic protection specialist
