DRIVER INSTRUCTOR
License Description License required for any person who gives driving instruction to persons over 18 years of age. This does not include a person who is employed as a full-time instructor by a high school, vocational school, or institution of higher learning. A license is also required to instruct students less than 18 years of age, instruct individuals on how to drive a motorcycle, and anyone receiving compensation for giving instruction on driving a truck. Prerequisites: Must have a regular, non-probationary drivers' license for the last 12-month period, an acceptable driving record and no felony convictions against public morals within the last 5 years. The Applicant must be employed by a licensed commercial driving school. Wisconsin Statutes: Operators' Licenses (S. 343.60 to 343.75)
