License Description	Prepares dead human remains for burial or disposal. Maintains the funeral establishment and sells funeral service merchandise to the public. May counsel and comfort relatives and friends, prepare casket and transport the deceased for services and burial. Prior to 1996 there were separate licenses for funeral directors and for embalmers.
