Asbestos Abatement Site Supervisors supervise asbestos abatement projects and workers for licensed asbestos abatement entities. They may also perform minor asbestos abatement projects.

Certification Requirements:

• Must be able to provide documentation of at least 12 months of asbestos abatement work experience
• Must attend and complete an approved 40-hour training course for asbestos abatement contractors and supervisors

Examination: Written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions, attaining a score of 70 percent or greater

Continuing Education: An annual eight-hour refresher course and passing a written examination of 25 multiple-choice questions with a score of 70 percent or greater are required

Fees:

• Certification: $200
• Annual renewal: $200
• Certificate replacement: $20

Reciprocity: Permitted if standards for licensure are substantially equivalent to those of New Hampshire
