Doctor of Chiropractic
License Description
Applicants must: 1) Have at least 2 years (60 credits) of pre-chiropractic college course work, or have at least 5 years of active practice in another state. 2) Graduate from a C.C.E. - accredited chiropractic college (or one accredited by any other qualified governmental accrediting agency). 3a) Pass the National Board clinical examinations (Parts I, II, III, and IV, including physiotherapy); or b) Have seven (7) years of active practice during the 10 years immediately preceding application with no adverse disciplinary action and a passing grade on the National Board Special Purposes Exam for Chiropractic (SPEC). 4) Pass a State Board examination on Nevada chiropractic jurisprudence. 5) Submit fingerprints and affidavits of good moral character. There is no reciprocity in Nevada. Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: application packet - $25; application--$200; fingerprint processing - $38.25; examination--$125; initial license--$225; biennial license renewal (active)--$700; biennial license renewal (inactive)--$250.
