Timekeeper or Judge (Professional Ring Officials)
License Description
Professional Ring Officials (referees, timekeepers and judges) must be licensed by the Athletic Commission. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not have been convicted of a felony or other crime involving turpitude. The Commission determines when additional ring officials are needed and when the licensing exam will be conducted. Visit the Commission website for further information about requirements. Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: referees--$75; timekeepers and judges--$50; ringside doctor--$100.
