Recreation Designated Agents
License Description
In order to operate, all outfitters must be qualified to guide or have in their employment a licensed guide or a designated agent who is licensed to guide. An applicant for designated agent must meet the following criteria: 1.) Be at least 18 years of age; 2.) Hold a first aid card and be aware of general emergency procedures; 3.) Have extensive first-hand knowledge of the area and/or waters and/or activities involved; 4.) Guide only those activities for which licensed; 5.) Guide only in the operating area and for those activities the outfitter is licensed. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
