Music Therapist
License Description
Music Therapists must be licensed in Nevada. Applicants must: 1) Be at least 18 years old. 2) Have completed an academic program approved by the American Music Therapy Association with a bachelor's or higher degree in music therapy. 3) Provide proof of current board certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (if applicable). 4) Provide 2 sets of fingerprints for a criminal history check. (Note: NRS 640D.170- Grounds for license denial, suspension or revocation.) Note: 100 units of continuing education are required for renewal (every 3 years.) Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: license --$200 (valid 3 years); fingerprints--$37.50
