License Description Applicants must have completed 900 hours in a program approved by the State Board; completed school through at least the 10th grade or the equivalent; be at least 18 years old; and pass the written and practical exams. If you are transferring from another state, you must have a current license in good standing, and you must prove that you have passed the national exam or you must take the written exam in Nevada. Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: application--$15; examination, written and practical--$110; examination, national written --$110; 2-year license--$70; 4-year license renewal--$140.
