License Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: A practical miner extracts minerals from underground mines. The miner uses hand or power tools and explosives to expose the minerals, and then secures the area by installing supportive wall structures. The practical miner also makes it possible to accommodate equipment by laying mining tracks. A practical miner is employed in the mining industry and may specialize in the extraction of one mineral such as ore, coal, or rock.
