License Description Applicants must: 1) Have a high school diploma or the equivalent and be at least 18 years old. 2) Provide proof of certification or accreditation from an organization approved by the Division. 3) Provide proof of completing and passing at least 40 hours of related building science training and practice from a training provider approved by the Division. 4) Submit proof of insurance coverage specified by the Division. 5) Submit 2 fingerprint cards (or electronic verification issued from an approved vendor). Fee: Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: application--$350; fingerprint card processing--$38.25 (payable to Dept. of Public Safety); renewal--$250.
