Person/People inspecting poultry meat at poultry slaughter plants. Fees: $100. Exam Locations: Place of employment or Area Office. Experience Requirement: Ability to understand laws and regulations pertaining to poultry inspection and a practical knowledge of all aspects of poultry slaughter and processing. Average Time to Process Application: 2 months. Renewal Period: Calendar year. Special License Requirements: N/A Comments: Inspectors must participate in annual training meetings sponsored by the department. Authority: California Food and Agricultural Code, Sections 25051-25062.
