Description of Occupation: A registered Nurse observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients. An RN administers medications, assists in convalescence and rehabilitation, instructs patients and their families in proper care, and helps individuals and groups to improve or maintain their health.Requirements for Licensing: US Citizenship, residence or under employment contract (1-2 yrs). Completion of ASN/BSN program. If foriegn must sit for their national exam and hold active license in their country. Proof of active nursing practice in past nine months. Education - ASN/BSN or advanced practice. Thirty hours continueing education units for renewal.Examinations: National Council Licensure Exam.Application and Fees: Application $10.
