Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
License Description
Applicants for CRNA certification by examination must: 1) Meet all requirements for Registered Nurse licensure (have an active RN license). 2) Have a master's degree in nursing or anesthetic care from an approved school. Applicants for CRNA certification by endorsement must: 1) Meet all requirements for Registered Nurse licensure (have an active RN license). 2) Have an official transcript sent directly to the Board by the educational institution that granted their master's degree in nursing or anesthetic care (if the nurse anesthetist program was completed on or after June 1, 2005)*. *Note: For those who graduated from an nurse anesthetist program between June 1, 1988 and May 31, 2005, the official transcript must be sent directly to the State Board from the educational institution that granted their bachelor's degree in nursing. Fees may be subject to change. Fees are: application/initial certificate--$200; biennial certificate renewal--$200.
