NUCLEAR POWER PLANT OPERATOR
License Description
Controls a nuclear reactor which produces steam for generation of electrical power and in operation of auxiliary equipment. REQUIREMENT: U. S. Citizen or intent to become one 18 years of age minimum Good moral Character Professional Must have 1 1/2 years employment under a second class engineer's license or an assistant nuclear power plant operator license, or must posses a B.S. degree in Engineering plus 1 year of experience in some capacity of steam plant operation Examination: Must pass a written exam and an oral exam, offered in September, March and June.
