License Description JOB DESCRIPTION: "Registered prosthetic/orthotic technician" means a person registered under the Orthotics and Prosthetics Practice Act who, under the direct supervision of a licensed orthotist or prosthetist, assists with the fabrication of orthoses or prostheses but who does not provide direct patient care.
