GUARDIAN, CERTIFIED
License Description
Certified guardians, upon appointment by a court with probate jurisdiction, provide guardianship services to incapacitated individuals, called wards. Certified guardians may be private professional guardians, or may be employed by local guardianship programs, the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) or the Department of Aging and Disability Services guardianship (DADS) programs to provide services to wards of those programs.
