License Description
Description of Occupation: A Landscape Architect plans and designs development of land areas for projects, such as parks and other recreational facilities, airports, highways, and parkways, hospitals, schools, land subdivisions, and commercial, industrial,and residential sites: Confers with clients, engineering personnel, and architects on overall program. Compiles and analyzes data on such site conditions as geographic location: soil, vegetation, and rock features. Prepares site plans, working drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for land development. Inspects construction work in progress to ensure compliance with landscape specifications.Requirements for Licensing: Graduate of Board approved school 4 yrs fulltime lawful experience Taken and passed the Uniform National Examination (U.N.E.) or 12 yrs fulltime lawful experience Taken and passed the Uniform National Examination (U.N.E.) Examinations: UNE License issued by endorsement. Exam currently not given in CNMI.Application and Fees: $500 application fee and $500 registration fee - after approval of application.Related Classification Codes: DOT 001.061-018 SOC 161
