Respiratory Therapists and Polysomnographers
License Description
Respiratory Therapists are licensed by the Idaho State Board of Medicine. To become licensed, applicants must: 1.) Be at least 18 years of age; 2.) Complete a board approved Respiratory Care program; 3.) Submit two certificates of professional recommendation; 4.) Be registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC); 5.) Pass a written and clinical exam; 6.) Pass the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists Exam. Term: Licenses can be renewed annually or bi-annually.
