Asbestos Inspector
License Description
An Asbestos Inspector is any person who inspects for Asbestos-Containing Material (ACM) in a facility and meets the certification requirements of Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission Regulation 21, Asbestos Abatement. Asbestos Inspectors work under the supervision of a facility or firm licensed pursuant to the provisions of this regulation. Requirements: 1) Must have a training certificate issued by an Arkansas-licensed training provider as proof of successful completion of an Arkansas approved training course. Course must be a minimum of 24 hours. 2) Must submit a completed application on a form provided by the Department. 3) Certification fee required. 4) Must provide a Disclosure Statement (initial certification only). 5) Must provide a color photograph (initial certification only). Certification Fee: $115.00
