License Description W-7 Limited Geothermal Contractor This registration permits the registrant to construct a geothermal bore hole or geothermal system, up to and including the manifold connection, including, but not limited to, the installation, repair, and maintenance of piping, casing, heat transfer media, pumps, pump motors, and valves. This registration excludes work on direct exchange systems. Requirements: The requirements for this registration shall be twenty-four (24) months as a geothermal bore hole driller or having held a valid W-8 registration for at least two years. The applicant for this registration must achieve a passing score on the written examination offered by the Department.
