Geologist In Training (GIT)
License Description Geologist in Training (GIT) conduct work similar to Registered Geologist (RG), but under the supervision of a RG. A GIT gains experience to meet the eligibility requirements for RG registration, including years of experience, and sitting for the Practice Geology examination. University training, GIT registration and supervised work experience are the stepping stones to practice as a Registered Geologist.
