License Description
The Wisconsin Division of Gaming is responsible for the regulation and oversight of the two greyhound racetracks in Wisconsin that conduct live and simulcast pari-mutuel wagering and racing. Every individual that participates in the pari-mutuel industry is required to obtain an occupational license. This process includes being fingerprinted and having an individual background check performed. Applicants for an occupational license may apply on-line and pay with a major credit card or electronic check. In addition, the on-line licensing system allows an applicant to print a completed application to mail or bring in person to a Division of Gaming office and pay by cash, check or money order. For more information regarding the licensing process or to request a license application or fingerprint cards by mail, please contact the Madison office at (608) 270-2555.
