License Description Bail Bond Agents in Idaho must be licensed. Applicants must: 1.) Be at least 18 years of age; 2.) Submit an application with required documents and fees; 3.) Submit fingerprints and pass a criminal background check; 4.) Have no felony convictions; 5.) Provide a $15,000 Surety bond; 6.) Pass a written exam. Term: Licenses are renewed bi-annually.
