License Description
The Arkansas Hemp Program at the Arkansas Department of Agriculture administers the Arkansas Hemp Production Act of 2021 and the federal 2018 Farm Bill. The Arkansas Department of Agriculture is the state agency in charge of licensing the growth, processing, handling, and storage of hemp material in Arkansas. Licensed Hemp Growers are permitted to legally produce and grow hemp crops, whereas Licensed Hemp Processor/Handlers are permitted to legally accept hemp crops for storage or handling, or to be processed into publicly marketable hemp products.
