Occupational Description


Farm labor contractors are individuals, partnerships, corporations, and/or cooperative associations which performany farm labor contracting activity for monetary or other valuable consideration. Farm labor contracting activities include recruiting, soliciting, hiring, employing, furnishing, and/or transporting of any migrant or seasonal agricultural worker.

Licensure Requirements


Businesses must submit an application, license fee, and surety bond (or equivalent) to the Nebraska Department of Labor.

Fees


License- $250.00, + $5,000 surety bond (or equivalent)

Renewal


Renewal is required annually by April 1. The renewal fee $250.00.
