Farm Labor Contractor
License Description
Anyone performing farm labor contractor activities on behalf of migrant and seasonal farmworkers in Idaho must be licensed by the Idaho Department of Labor. Applicants must: 1.) Submit an application with required documents and fees; 2.) Post a surety bond to cover unpaid wages; 3.) Submit insurance documents for all vehicles used; 4.) Submit proof of workers’ compensation coverage for all employees; 5.) Provide all employees at the time of hiring with full disclosure of the conditions of employment.
