Associate Professional Counselor
License Description
Associate Professional counselors counsel individuals and groups providing them with educational, vocational, career, or personal guidance services. They collect, organize, and analyze information about individuals through records, tests, interviews, and professional sources to appraise their interest aptitudes, abilities, and personality characteristics. They refer individuals to placement services and assist individuals to understand and overcome social and emotional problems. They may also teach classes in their area of expertise.
