Recovery Agent
License Description An individual who locates and recovers (i.e. repossesses) motor vehicles, mobile homes, motor boats, and other pieces of property as a result of default in payment for these items.

Chapter 493, Florida Statutes.

Educational Requirements:
Successful completion of 40 hours from a licensed class "RS" recovery agent school or training facility. One year of lawfully gained, verifiable experience performing repossessions of motor vehicles, motor boats, or mobile homes, or one year of experience as a licensed class "EE" recovery agent intern.
