Athletic Trainer
License Description
To receive a Michigan Athletic Trainer License, an applicant must undergo a fingerprint and criminal background check and complete training to identify victims of human trafficking. Additionally, an applicant must complete a minimum of 1 hour of first aid training with the 3 years prior to the application date, attain certification in emergency cardiac care, complete the Board of Certification, Inc. examination, and submit a license application with the appropriate fee remitted.
