License Description Licensed Counselors meet the regulations requirements for examination, licensing, continuing education and have not violated the Counseling & Therapy Practice Act or Rules and Regulations of the Board. The law requires that anyone engaged in the practice of Counseling or using the title "Counselor" must be licensed.
