License Description Agricultural Environmental Management (AEM) Certified Planners are certified to develop Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMP) for Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) regulated farms in NYS. AEM Planner Certification requires Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) accreditation and continuing education units (CEU), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) coursework, successful completion of the three-plan review process, and on-going quality assurance reviews by CNMP Specialists in the Dept. of Agriculture and Markets.
