Occupational Description


A Mixed Martial Artist is any athlete that competes in professional martial arts events in Nebraska.

Licensure Requirements


All Mixed Martial Artists must pass a physical examination before being allowed to compete in a sporting event. Mixed Martial Artists must be in training for a minimum of 30 days prior to being issued a license and approved to compete in a mixed martial arts match. No contestant under the age of 18 years shall be permitted in a professional mixed martial arts match without written parent/guardian permission.

License Fee- $20.00 (Payable at first event)

Renewal


All licenses expire on June 30 following the date of issuance.
